FORGED IN FIRE
Our shared passion to bring music lovers from around the world together has led to a magical encounter between STAUB and Tomorrowland
A unique story that combines traditional know-how and perfect design.
“TASTES OF THE WORLD”
The unique lid with its world map and a button in the shape of a heart carries the flag of ‘Tastes Of The World’ and unites all people who love good food. It is an unique discovery of different flavours from all over the world, based on quality and pure ingredients.
These unique flavours are served in a Tomorrowland Cocotte by STAUB at the most magical meeting, at Tomorrowland.
THE BIRTH OF THE COCOTTE
Each cast-iron Tomorrowland Cocotte by STAUB is unique and the result of a traditional production process in the heart of France, in MERVILLE.
The creation of the Cocotte starts with the creation of the respective aluminium molds. These molds make sand molds in which the melted raw material is poured and the Cocotte is given its shape.
After pouring, the Tomorrowland Cocotte by STAUB is removed from the sand mold and striped from any residual material. The preparation for enamelling starts now. All uneven parts are eliminated thanks to thorough blast cleaning. Afterwards the base layer is applied after which the cocotte is ready to be enamelled
AROMA RAIN BY STAUB
The sophisticated design and optimised weight of the flat lid of the Tomorrowland Cocotte by STAUB with its specially contoured underside means that it has excellent moisture retention properties.
Aroma Rain from STAUB ensures an even and continuous rainfall effect over the dish inside of the Tomorrowland Cocotte by STAUB, keeping it moist, succulent and full of flavour.
THE SPECIAL ‘MAJOLICA’ ENAMELLING
The Tomorrowland Cocotte by STAUB is subjected to a special enamelling process, namely majolica enamelling, a process mastered by very few manufacturers.
This special ‘Majolica’ colour technique is used to achieve uniquely glossy enamel and deeply intense shades.
